Great minds think alike, comrade. Leftist clapter is cringe, not comedy. SNL is the Harvard of comedy shows: https://yuribezmenov.substack.com/p/how-to-tell-a-joke-comedy-clapter-cringe-snl

I'm not a comedian either, I'm rather silly than funny, but...

I worked in media for a while in the last century. People always complained about content. They wrote angry letters, they threatened to complain to the government, United Nations or the pope, they told they «won't leave it like that». Usually they'd be sent some bland boilerplate response about «how much we value your opinion», and by the time the letter made the round-trip, they would've been already calmed down. Sometimes it'd take two rounds but it rarely went anywhere.

Social networks changed a lot. They lowered the transaction costs for public petitioning, hence more complaints are public now; they made communication faster and thus made it easier to maintain the temperature of outrage. Heckler's veto just became technically easier, that's it.

The bullet points from that hilarious NY Post piece about "Friends":

* The popular show ran from 1994 to 2004

* A murder of a recidivist street criminal sixteen years after the show ended pushed Kauffman to "reckon with her own part in perpetuating systems of racism"

* In an attempt to redeem herself, Kauffman pledged $4 million

So they just extorted $4 million from someone for an offense that wasn't anu sort of offense and wasn't categorized as such until far later, when someone could get paid.

So blatant.

And it's become clear that upper-crust Jews of a Zionist bent are among the most humorless people on Earth. They also make things up nonstop, which leads to an interesting combination since a lot of prevaricators can be entertaining. But it's not funny at all when the lies are solely about protecting diabolical machinations.

I knew something was off by the time I was 14 or 15 and saw someone tell a Jewish joke to two Jewish kids that he'd heard from a Jewish source. The jokester got the "Hey hey hey hey hey..." treatment, which later led me to realize that the whole ingrained self-deprecation cultural motif is largely a tactic meant to promote the most extraordinarily false brand of humility on civilizational record.

The veil is off now, although most people are waiting for others to start throwing some serious bricks at the whole sham set of institutions. This has made media Zionists even more testy of late.

"Death by wokeness, sponsored by Pfizer."

Great line, lol.

As you stated no dissent is allowed even if it's cloaked in humor. We are now at the point where feelings trump logic and truth.

It's really just satire that we're talking about here. You could still have a person holding a 2x4 over his shoulder turn around and accidentally hit another person standing nearby, presuming the person being struck is a cis-presenting white male so as not to be seen as condoning any sort of violence towards minorities, women, or transgenders. Of course this style of humor is witless prole-feed, about on the same intellectual level as cockfighting or watching the race cars go vroom vroom.

The thing is, satire does only really exist in order to subvert and undermine the authority of the elites in a society. This is why Jews are utterly humorless now seeing themselves as the authority, while they were supposedly the greatest comedians in the world 20 years ago when the ruling elite was still seen to be WASP-centric. George Costanza was extremely funny, while Larry David screeching at Trump supporters like a histrionic Yenta with PMS is only unintentionally funny.

We lived in an unusual blossoming of humor between the 70s and 2000s simply because the ruling Jewish elite were the ones in power while the WASP elite was still superficially seen as in power, so subversive humor against the false WASP elite was encouraged by the actual elite. If you look back in history you don't see all that much humor, the famed sophisticated humor of the English back with Chaucer entails a woman tricking her cuckolded husband into kissing her asshole and then farting in his face. If he had instead opted for observational humor, "So what's the deeeeeal with these Plantagenets? The rest of us are perfectly content to let our children die from dysentery as God intended while they've gotta be all fancy about stabbing them in the Tower of London!", I suspect his comedic career would have been forcibly cut shot by the power of the state.

I have heard good things about it, will give it a watch, thanks. I'm a big fan of Judge's King of the Hill.

It is a portmanteau of globalization plus either homosexuality or homogenization, and it's a lot of fun to both say and write.

There are pockets. Standup is having a reboot because of podcasts and internet self promotion. Shane Gillis and his Philly crew are all really funny and him being ‘cancelled’ either didn’t work or worked great depending on how you view ‘cancel’ culture. He might soon get his place on the Mt Rushmore of comedy if his rise to prominence goes uninterrupted. Mainstream humor has really never been that great to begin with. All the same can be said about music but again millions of great artist to find but just not what is given to us through mainstream. Good thing mainstream is dying.

If there's one weakness to this nightmarish totalitarian future, it's humour, which is a sick joke in itself.

"However, anyone with an IQ above plant life understands by now......"

I think you are insulting plants here, my friend. I haven't tested this yet but my hypothesis is this: A plant the grows next to something toxic, will grow away from it.

In some countries almost 90% of the human population let themsleves be intejected by something toxic. Some plant intelligence would greatly improve their live. Just saying.

And yes, I noticed too that our woke-influenced culture got incredibly boring.

Which brings me back intelligence. Good humor is stongly correlated with intelligence, acurate self-reflection and awareness. Which tells you everything about the humorless make-up of woke people.

Excellent analysis! Cancelled comedian Owen Benjamin is still creating lots of often funny content each week. A recent episode that had me laughing: OWEN BENJAMIN | #1833 HOLOCOASTER TYCOON & THE BIG BUSINESS OF WW2 FICTION + OWENBENJAMINREACTS

Several years ago I revisited Blazing Saddles and saw anti-white propaganda I was oblivious to back in the day. I realized it's throughout the entertainment industry, though I don't think most people see it. The big picture, as I recently posted on another article:

Wikipedia, my favorite source for the official story of everything, has a listing of pandemic movies made by hollyweird - there's about 150 of them. Like who actually wants to watch a movie about that, yet they crank them out as predictive programming. People think the industry is about box office revenue, but in reality it's social engineering which would be put out there even if their shite films never made a dime.

Yeah, it is incredibly humourless in most places, the only places I've been able to go to, to laugh have been some rural parts of the Anglosphere or to the French who mock everything irl and online, so that I'm spending more and more time in the Francosphere, as it is funner and funnier there (at least online).

If it wasn't for my articles here and fantasy serial-novels I'd probably be exclusively involved in the French sphere, puisque c'est plus amusant. The Anglosphere is utterly depressing these days, and I'm a nerd, but even we French nerds love ribbing, love mingling with the jocks (there was never any true distinction). This new status quo in North America is intolerable tbh.

I'm a bit confused about the ongoing score-keeping here. So, it's pitiable to resent economic and political predation by other humans (the 'establishment'), but it's OK to complain and lament about the demographic decline of the self-cannibalizing white population? We must ALL be pussies (not Bozos) on this bus. By the way, humor is still out there if you look -- but it is, not as you say, in the mainstream. Try watching some "Reservation Dogs", for example -- or watching the bedeviled antics and 'thinking' of the American left. Sko.
